ICI VIDEO SERIES FOR CAMELID OWNERS
Click HereProduction of the videos is under the supervision of camelid veterinarians but in most cases procedures are and will be done by an alpaca or llama owner in the hope that owners will feel more comfortable taking on many of these tasks that are necessary for proper herd health and maintenance. It will also be noted when it is appropriate to contact a veterinarian. Additional titles will be forthcoming and will cover, but not necessarily limited to: birthing, neonatal care and potential cria problems; shearing for health, inserting microchips and how to do fecal testing. |

BARN BOOK: These pages coordinate with the videos of the same topics and are meant to be kept in your barn where you work with your animals. They have the key points and highlights of each video and will assist you when performing any of these procedures; keep them with the Recommended On-Farm Veterinary Kit.
|
CONSULT CORNER: Have your questions and concerns answered by camelid experts in all areas of health, nutrition, reproduction, medicine and behavior. |
